I had fun incorporating all of these stamp sets into one card and making it sparkly and shine like New Year's should be! I used some dark blue shimmer cardstock and some silver cardstock with silver ink and lots of glitter!! I love how the word background turned out on the bottom, such a fun thing to do with alphabet stamps!

Sweet Christmas
Hello there!!! Only three more days until Christmas and I have a fun last minute card to share! I used some Sweet Stamp Shop sets to create this super simple card, easily made and completely mailable! I used Sweet Alpha Doodles to create the focal point sentiment strips and Tree Traditions to create the background.
First I created the background with red and green inks using the larger two snowflakes from Tree Traditions on a crisp, white card base. Then I made my banners using Sweet Alpha Doodles, easy peasy!
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting today and everyday! I wish you and your's a very Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas
Another Christmas card to share with you this week before the big day! I really enjoyed putting all of these elements together - woodgrain stamp from PTI, sentiment and heart from Hero Arts, snowflakes from My Cute Stamps and patterned paper from Echo Park. Just a little homespun looking card made just for a good friend of mine. Well, I'm making this short and sweet tonight and wishing you a great week!!

Reverse Masked Tree
Happy Wednesday! I have another masked Christmas card for you today. This time I used the reverse mask from the one I shared the other day. Just used Eclipse to create my mask - this stuff is irreplaceable when it comes to masking. Again I used my Mint Motif stamps - Beyond Borders and Very Merry Sentiments - available at i {heart} papers.
Very basic card, I added glitter to outline of the tree again and this time I used gray ink for the sentiment and added one simple pop of red with the rhinestone at the top of the tree. This card is a little flatter than the one I shared the other day and therefore easier to mail. I just might make a couple more of these since I just love how they turned out!! But first I need to make a few gift tags...I am off to work on those now. Have a great day!

Look at them Apples
It's Tuesday and my day to post a sweet card for you! Today I used the super cute set, "The Core of It" from Sweet Stamp Shops very first release! I can't believe it has almost been 6 months! Nicole has some super cute things coming up in January too, you won't want to miss them! I combined the apples with a partial sentiment from "Hello Beautiful" for a simple card.
I started by simply stamping some of the apple slices on Kraft cardstock and coloring them a bit with green, red, and a white gel pen for the seeds. Then I trimmed them out and decided to overlap and line them up along my card. I used a pretty piece of patterned paper from Echo Park as a background, love those polka dots! Then I punched a fancy label and stamped just the Hello sentiment. I lined it all up and adhered before deciding to add two cute buttons - quick and easy!
So that's it today, a cute card easy to customize for any occasion or with a different color scheme! Thanks for visiting today and I hope your week is going great!

Masked Tree
Happy {almost} Monday everyone! The beginning of another week, the last week before winter vacation for us and another week closer to Christmas! My children are both so excited about Christmas this year, the youngest (3) is old enough to grasp the concept of the holiday and all the fun that surrounds it. My husband (random side note - I am not saying hubby anymore since apparently there are tons of people who cringe at the word! Are you one of them??) and I successfully completed our holiday shopping goals this weekend and it wasn't even overwhelmingly crowded! Just a few little things to put together and lots of holiday baking (the fun part for me) and I am finished with all my tasks.
So here is another Christmas card I made last week using Mint Motif stamps - Beyond Borders and Very Merry Sentiments; both available exclusively at i {heart} papers! I made the tree mask myself with some paper and a ruler, super simple with a bit of measuring. I then stamped the bubble border (my name for it;)) in alternating colors of green (Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress inks from Ranger). I thought it needed a little definition from the rest of the card so I quickly added a glitter border (just used a fine tip glue pen to add the glitter) and a shiny red button and sparkly rhinestone at the top. I added the sentiment to the center of the tree, fits perfectly I think. The little scalloped edge on the bottom is actually a piece from Echo Park's Season's Greetings collection that I just punched. What a simple and totally reproducable card right?! And you could definitely leave the button off to accomodate mailing it.
So have a wonderful week, I have another "reverse masked" card like this one to share later in the week! And some Sweet Stamp Shop goodness too!! And by the way, I lowered the price of all the Stampendous and My Time Made Easy stamps on my sale page, email me if you see anything you like! Thanks for visiting!

Sparkly Christmas
Happy weekend! Can't believe there are only two weeks until Christmas! A perfect time to share this cute, sparkly card I made the other night. I have had this idea for a while and finally made time to create it. I used Echo Park's Season's Greetings collection for the ornaments, I just punched them out using a few different sized circle punches. Then I added some glitter, isn't it so pretty, just like Christmas!
I "hung" each ornament from baker's twine, this is from The Twinery and I love it! The sentiment is from Hero Arts Very Merry Christmas set. This set is full of perfect sentiments for the holidays, I love the combination of fonts used!
So there you have it, a quick and fun Christmas card. If I made all my cards I could definitely see reproducing this one! I did however send out all my photo cards last week, hooray!! Now I will send a few of these handmade cards to some special friends. My husband and I are going to attempt to finish our Christmas shopping this weekend, wish us luck!!

Sweet Stamp Shop Release Hop
Hey there and welcome to the first day of Sweet Stamp Shop's new release hop for December. There are three sets being released on December 2nd - that's Friday!! Today the DT is showing off projects made with the new set Sweet Victoria. It is such a pretty set, unlike anything else SSS has released. I really like it! So if you got here from Donna's blog, then you're right on track. If not, you might want to start at the Sweet Stamp Shop blog so you don't miss a thing!!
For my card today, I created a background with the two different sized flowers and the leaves in the set, aren't those pretty? I then added a little half frame and a sweet little border. So easy and pretty, I love the two shades of purple together and the splash of green sets it off so well.
Anyhow, be sure not to miss any inspiration today and hop on over to Aga's blog next! And just in case you want the whole list in order, here you go:

Happy Holidays
We are getting into full holiday mode around here, decorated the house and will most likely go get our tree towards the end of the week. We are fortunate to live in an area with A LOT of tree farms so we have a little family adventure and go cut a tree every year. I am also putting together my holiday baking list, I love baking at the holidays. Really I love baking all the time, but the holidays are like an excuse to make lots of delicious stuff. Anyhow today I have another Christmas card to share with you, it is a hybrid of Hero Arts stamps and Mint Motif stamps.
I used the Magic of Christmas set from Hero Arts - I got it at i {heart} papers but I don't think they have it anymore. They do have lots of other great Hero Arts Christmas sets though! I stamped the smaller branch repeatedly around the cardfront to make a sort of frame for the sentiment. Then I added in the little star image randomly (I also added red stickles to the center of each star). Finally I added the sentiment from Mint Motif's Very Merry Sentiments. I love how the sentiments in this set are equally at home on the front of a card and on the inside. The layout was borrowed from a layout Maile Belles did this month, I love it! I think it is equally effective for a horizontal or vertical card.
Okay, that's about it today...have a fabulous day and be sure to check back tomorrow for the start of this months Sweet Stamp Shop release hop!

First Christmas Card
Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Black Friday:)! We had a great Thanksgiving, filled with fun, great food, family and lots of laughter. Just a perfect day! I don't do Black Friday shopping unless it's online but I'm sure lots of you out there got great deals! So today I have a my first Christmas card of the season to share. I admit though that I do not send all handmade cards, I do picture cards and guess what? - I already did them!! Yay, first time I have ever done them in November...I used Snapfish this year cause they are having a 50% off sale on all their holiday cards and I like their designs a lot.
Anyhow, for this simple and colorful card, I used Mint Motif's Beyond Borders to create the red and green chevron pattern on the white card base. I then made a frame using a piece of red polka dotted paper from the Jillibean Soup Blossom Soup collection and Spellbinders circle and labels 1 dies. In the middle I added my sentiment from Very Merry Sentiments and lots of glittery accents, this is Martha Stewart glitter and I just used a glue pen to add it to the card. Remember the only place you can get Mint Motif stamps is at i {heart} papers! And Kate has a great sale that is continuing through the weekend, she is offering 25% off your order of $35 or more! There is so much fun stuff in the store, especially in the paper section, I would buy it all if I could!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a fabulous weekend and I'll be back next week, promise:)!

Old School Rock
Hey there! It's almost Thanksgiving here in the US and my little boy has the week off school. We are really looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving and the start of the Christmas season! Today I get to share a fun card made with one of Sweet Stamp Shop's "originals" - Old School Rock! This is my first time using it and I had some fun with it for sure! I combined it with the border from Sweet Tooth which is one of my favorites, so many uses for those whimsical little circles.
I started this card with the diagonal circle pattern using some Distress inks, then I added the border. I stamped the tape on some Basic Grey manilla paper and then sponged some ink around it. After adhering the tape, I thought it needed a little something so I added the individual dots around it in little clusters. And look at that cute sentiment, Nicole has some of the funnest says in her sets!!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous week and a Happy Thanksgiving!!

You Are The Best
Hey there everyone! I am hoping you are having a fantastic week. All is well here, this is such a busy time of year for all of us and time just seems to fly by. I haven't been super crafty lately as reflected in my blog...but I did find time to make a card just for fun last night. Really it has been a while since I just pulled some stamps out and made a card for the heck of it. I had fun and used some favorites...pink, circles, pearls. These are some new Hero Arts/Studio Calico stamps that I got from i {heart} papers the other day, I just love them! I also got some of this pretty Authentique paper, the Uncommon line - love the pinks and greys together.
Supplies: Stamps - You Are The Best (Hero Arts/Studio Calico); Ink - Sugar, Provincial, Strawberry (Fresh Ink), Dark Brown (Clearsnap); Cardstock - SS White, Pink Shimmer, Smokey Shadow (PTI); Patterned Paper - Uncommon (Authentique); Accessories - Upper Crest Border Punch (Fiskars), Pink Pearls (Kaiser Craft)
Thank you all for stopping by! I will be back next week with another fun post for Sweet Stamp Shop - they have their super cute Thanksgiving Owl-fits set on sale for $6 right now too! Have a great weekend, we will be celebrating Madison's birthday tomorrow and just spending time together.
ETA - I added some additional items to my sale page, a few more PTI stamps, buttons and some Marvy punches. Send me an email if you're interested in anything!

Birthday Doodles
Hello there and happy Tuesday! Today I get the pleasure of sharing a fun card made with one of Sweet Stamp Shop's new releases, Sweet Alpha Doodles! I love this whimsical set of letters, numbers, symbols, and frames; seriously it is jam packed with images! And Nicole was nice enough to include multiples of popular letters to make spelling out names and sentiments even easier!
I decided to make a little number strip and pair it with some happy, colorful patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. Then I spelled out Happy Birthday with the letters and stamped a cute background. I added a cute star with the birthday age highlighted, so so cute!!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great week!!

Sports Fever
Today is my day to share a cute Sweet Stamp Shop creation with you, this time using one of the new sets, Sports Fever! I love the cute girlie sports images in this set, they are so fun!
For my card today, I chose the football image cause that's the time of year we are in right?! I created a little background with it and the hearts and also added in the smaller hearts from the Cool Scoop set. I added a little banner type strip with the sentiment stamped all over it in red (tone on tone stamping makes a nice understated impact I think). Then I added the cute heart with the sentiment again and coordinating rhinestones along the bottom. Overall I was satisfied with how this came together and you could totally use the same concept for any of the sports represented!
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! A fabulous LONG weekend if you're in the US! Happy Veteran's Day!
ETA: If you ordered anything from my stamp sale, it has all been mailed out! Thank you for all the orders! There is still lots of stuff over there, just check out the crafty stuff for sale tab at the top!

Tree Traditions
After all the excitement of the new releases from Sweet Stamp Shop, I have a card to share today using a set that was released last month. Tree Traditions is such a fun set, my favorite part is the cute snowflakes!
For my card I used a spectrum of blue cardstock and stamped lots of pretty white snowflakes, then added the sentiment in coordinating colors. I love the simplicity of this card and I guess it is perfect for this time of year, it is starting to get cold here and we just might get some snow this week.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

SSS Sneak Peek #2
Welcome to day 2 of this months Sweet Stamp Shop sneak peek blog hop! If you arrived here from Donna's blog, you are right on track! Today we are previewing a set called Sports Fever, it is full of "girly" sports images and sentiments, really cute!
My card uses the basketball image and a couple of other supporting images. I made this for our basketball coach (& good friend) even though we haven't even started the season yet, nothing like getting a jump on stuff right? Anyhow, I was attempting to make it look like the basketball was bouncing across the card, I hope I succeeded. I trimmed out the final basketball )which was embossed with some dots) and popped it up and added a cute little heart.
And don't forget that you could win your very own copy of this cute set, all you have to do is hop along and leave comments on all the blogs in the hop. And for an extra entry, share the hop on your Facebook page...but make sure to go to the Sweet Stamp Shop page and let us know!
Now, go out and hop, the next stop on the hop is Aga's blog. And in case you get "lost" along the way, here is the whole list:
Sweet Stamp Shop
Julie Ranae
Savannah O'Gwynn
Lindsay Amrhein
Donna Mikasa

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow for one more sneak peek before the sets are released!!
Sweet Stamp Shop Sneak Peek
Hello there and welcome to another Sweet Stamp Shop sneak peek blog hop! If you arrived here from Donna's blog you are in the right spot! There are three new sets being released November 2nd and I am sure you will love them!
Today we all get to share projects made with the Furry Friends Forever set! It is cute and has lots of little woodsy images to make your cards extra special! I chose to make a quick background with the acorn images and one of the sentiments. Then I stamped the log image (probably my favorite image in the set), trimmed it out and added a whole bunch of pretty patterned butterflies around it.
And don't forget that you could win your very own copy of this cute set, all you have to do is hop along and leave comments on all the blogs in the hop. And for an extra entry, share the hop on your Facebook page...but make sure to go to the Sweet Stamp Shop page and let us know!

The patterned paper is from Echo Park, the Splash collection, it has such great colors and some super cute patterns!I hope you are having a wonderful week! Thank you for stopping by today!
