Grand Opening Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome to the Sweet Stamp Shop Grand Opening Blog Hop! It's a big one so settle in and enjoy the projects! Leave comments for chances to win some of these cute stamps sets for yourself. I am so happy for Nicole for getting this great stamp company started, she draws just the cutest images! So before I get to the rest of the announcements and instructions, I would love to share the card I made for the hop. I used the new set Scootin' By which a fun collection of images with the main image being a cute scooter. I chose to use a few of the "supporting" images to create a little scene perfect for a birthday card. I used the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist paper (again;)) to paper piece the balloons and for the strip on the bottom edge, it is just so cute. I stamped the fun whimsical clouds and trimmed them out before adhering them to the sky type background I created. My favorite part though is the sun rays I created behind the main image using the road lines included in the set, I just love how it turned out.
